First Day of School

So its the end of August and its almost time for me to go back to back to school so I decided to go on my schools website and pull up there calendar to see what date my first day of school is.  So I  look at the calendar and it says the "First Full Day Of School" is on August 28th. So I say to myself "Ok" I just have to make sure I have everything l need by the 28th. So on the 27th, I decided to take a trip to the mall, and I do some last minute shopping and I was at the mall for a while, I did not get home until 9pm. With getting home so late I had missed one of my favorite shows 'Bachelor Pad 3', but I just decided that I was to tired and I decided that I really should go to bed.  I wake up at 6:50am on the 28th so I go and brush my teeth, wash my face....put on my new red shirt, Dark Tan Shorts, and my Polo shoes, and my mom drops me off at school.  I notice there is not many kids at school and I wondered a little bit, but I go in to school anyway and there is no one there I know and this is my second year at this school.  So I go up to one of the tables they have set up in the great hall to get my schedule, and the teachers cannot seem to find my schedule.  So I ask one of the teachers is today only for 9th graders, or for 10th graders.  He tells me that today 9th graders, report and the10th graders start tomorrow on the 29th. In my head I say "Shut the front door!". So the teacher I asked walked me over to the office ad let me use the phone so I could call my mom and get a ride, so I call my moms phone and there is no answer, so I said to the teacher "my mom did not answer and I am just going to walk home" and said "Okay" and I said "Thank You for you help" and then I leave.  On my way home I think to my self it is  7:45am and I could have been at home in my bad sleeping in! The sidewalk was wet on my walk home because it had rained the night before.  I was trying to be careful and not step in a mud puddle, and even though I was careful my foot slipped and I stepped into a mud puddle and I ruin, my brand new Polo shoes, and the rest of the way home I'm just cursing to myself in my head.  I finally get to my front door and as soon as I get home, I go right up to my room and I take off my cloths and I get right back in bed and go to sleep.
