The Best Wedding Ever

In 2009, my family and I, drove to Connecticut, it was the wedding of my cousin.  His father had past away just months before his big day.  We had just arrived, and I walked off the bus and I see Han. He gives me a hug, because he was happy to see me. We all change into our nice cloths before the wedding begun, I have on a nice tux, and I'm looking in the mirror thinking I look good.  Everyone heads in the church for the ceremony.  The church looked liked ancient, but really big, and kind of scary.  So the best man, comes up to make a speech, he gets up in front of everyone, and starts to read from the notes, he messes up a little, and has a little bit of stage fright, but he eventually gets it together and finished the speech.  The best man shed some tears, because of his performance, but Han was there for him.  Han and his soon to be wife, we're facing one another, saying "I do" His wife Kyoko started to cry, and soon they had kissed.  Everyone started to clap, Han and Kyoko walked down the isle, followed by the grooms men, and bridesmaids. I walked out of the church with my mom, and grandma, and we run into Kyoko's parents.  I tell them "I'm good at speaking Japanese" Kyoko mom's is curious of what I can say, so I said "Watashi wa, Ogenki des ka,Watshi no namae wa Duane des". Her mom said a response to me in Japanese, and we had a mini conversation. Her Japanese family was surprised, 10 minutes later, we headed into this restaurant like building, and there are waiters, and waitresses going around giving samples of a bunch of different foods. Then we were all called in, so we walk through this door and I see a dance-floor with tables, there's a DJ, and a giant cake. The table my family sat at was at the top on the balcony. I could see everything from the balcony.  A waitress came to take our orders, and since I was going through a vegetarian stage in my life I order a Veggie salad. The DJ played music and everyone was dancing, having a great time and I'm wandering around, and I come across a candy table, it has a big bowl of purple sugar, with sugar straws, gummies, and other tasty sweats. I get back to the dance-floor and my mom is trying to convince me to dance with Kyoko. She tells me that she's drunk, and is going to dance with anyone she sees. So I go for it, and we start to dance. While we're dancing she tells me that she thinks it's cool that I can speak a little Japanese. The cake has been cut, and everyone takes a slice, it's really tasty and the design on the cake was really modern. It's the end of everything, and we see a photo booth. I go in and there's a countdown before my pictures are taken. I do five different poses, and the photos comes out. We signed our names on a book then gave it to them as a present. Han told me that I'm his favorite cousin, at the end of the day it was a great wedding, nothing was able to top this.
