Crazy Rain

Earlier today while I was in school and the day was almost over and while I was in my last block class which was gym class.  While we were in the gym we heard nothing but thunder, and rain hitting the gym roof.  By time 2:24 arrived (which at my school is when the day ends) and I go to walk out the school front doors It is clear and cool out, so as I am waiting for my grandma to stop and pick me and as soon as she gets to the school to pick me up it started to downpour.  It was raining so hard it's crazy. My grandma stops at a store on our way home and had we got out of the car and we had to jump over a big muddy puddle to get to the store sidewalk, but she still got soaked as if she had jumped into a pool. A few minutes go by and the rain picks up and now it is raining so hard it is a white out! You can barley see the road clearly, plus the widows are getting foggy because it has gotten humid out.  We had to pull over and stop the car, and put our blinkers on so we could wipe the widow down so we could see but, the window still managed to keep getting foggy, and we had to eventually turn the heat on, and finally after a minute or so we could see out of the windows.  On my way back to my grandmas we had  to stop and drop my baby cousin off and I had to take him up to the house! I picked him up and ran him inside since it was still pouring outside.  I was not paying attention to where I was walking and stepped into a big water peddle and got my socks all wet.  Finally, I made it to the porch, and dropped him off. I got back in the car and the roads are practically flooded.  As we got closer to my grandmas house the rain started to slow down and finally it has stopped. Now, I can finally get into the house and dry off.
